Hello Waldo community!
We're thrilled to announce a feature that we believe will enrich your experience and connect your journeys more seamlessly with your social presence. Say hello to Social Media Syncing!
This new feature allows you to sync your location from Waldo directly to your social media accounts, starting with Twitter. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do this:
Authorize your Twitter account in settings. Simply go to your account settings on Waldo and navigate to the "connected accounts" tab. Add your Twitter account if you haven't already authenticated it.
Sync your location. Next, go to your current location that you'd like to sync on your locations tab. Click on the new "sync" icon. There's also an option to automatically sync your location when posting a new, active trip.
Check out your new location on Twitter. Finally, head over to your Twitter profile and see your new location update in action! You'll now be able to share your travels with your Twitter audience more dynamically and seamlessly.
We'd like to have this feature available for other platforms as well. In order to make the location syncing feature fully functional on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and WhatsApp, we need these platforms to allow third-party location syncs.
