Import Your Gmail Address Book

We’re excited to announce a new feature in Waldo that's all about making connections smoother and effortless. We have integrated Gmail into Waldo to let you import your Google contacts seamlessly.

How Does It Work?

The process is simple and straightforward. Just follow these steps, and your contacts will be available on Waldo in no time:

1. Navigate to the ‘Connections’ tab on your Waldo dashboard.
   

2. Click on the ‘Invite’ button. You’ll find it nestled right next to your contacts list. After clicking ‘Invite’, look for the text "Or import contacts from Google" under the email line. This link is your gateway to import contacts from Google.
   

3. Clicking on this link will prompt Google’s authentication process. Log in with your Gmail credentials and authorize Waldo to access your Google contacts.

Your contacts will be imported to Waldo automatically, saving you the time and hassle of adding each one manually. Remember, this process is secure, and your Gmail login credentials will not be stored by Waldo. The purpose of the authentication process is solely to import contacts and nothing more.

Empowering Group Admins

Group Admins can also leverage this new feature to import Google contacts right from the Group’s page. For our group admins, here’s how you do it:

1. Visit your ‘Group’ page.

2. Click on the ‘Share Invite Link’ button.

3. Follow the same steps as above – click "Or import contacts from Google", authenticate, and import. Your group contacts will be updated with just a few clicks!
